Need Store Voluneers - post here

I am interested in getting the team store going. I will need help with deciding how to handle a committee on this, and eventually with gathering items, taking photos, listing, promoting, and shipping. In my mind, the team store could handle team merchandise (totes, shirts, stickers), as well as donations of handmade items and supplies from members to raise funds for team events and whatnot.

I am thinking that different people could handle different listings, if everyone involved is OK with doing photos and listings and shipping. Otherwise, one person could do all photography, another person all listing, another person all shipping.

Anyone interested in helping with this? Post ideas/questions/offers here!

I am just bouncing some ideas around... If the Third Saturday plan takes off at the 78704 Artisan Market, maybe we could have items from the team store on display in a team table at the market? And photos and listing creation could be done on those Saturdays during slow times or 30 minutes prior to open, etc? Shipping would need to be someone who would ship as needed, but the other stuff could be fun as a group. Also, I don't know what the rules are for team stores, but would it be possible to do it as a consignment instead of a donation? If people created items directly for the store, like 'i make stuff' tees or 'I luv etsy' bracelets, Austin souvenirs, etc., then it would be marketable to a variety of people, including ourselves, and we would get reimbursed at least for our supplies and some of our time.

I like the idea of taking the photos at the market. I can bring my small card table so we can display items on it to photograph.

Thanks, guys. I will definitely bring some team merch to the 78704 market in March.

As for the store items, we are still figuring out how we are going to handle listings, so stay tuned. Keep the ideas coming!
